Come on Michael Bay, don’t screw this up…
The Transformers teaser trailer is live now on Yahoo! Promotions. I really don’t like Jon Voight as an actor, but this trailer is looking pretty good 
If there’s one thing Michael Bay does well, it’s Blowing Shit Up. With big-ass robots and (please) a half decent script, this one could be a winner.

I dunno, Michael Bay doesn’t really do ‘Blowing shit up’ all that well.. in Bad Boys, the reason it clicked was the Lawrence/Smith relationship, not the exploding cars.
I think even his shitty direction will be saved by the coolness of transforming robots kicking ass.

I think the brief glimpse we got of Prime looked pretty good. All those whiners on AICN would do well to remember that he’s not only been a semi-truck, but a fire engine (twice), a gorilla, a bat, a woolly mammoth(!) and a stupid Power Rangers combination of vehicles.
I’m fine with the characters being reinterpreted for the big screen, as long as their personalities are intact. What would they prefer, yellow spandex?
